About the Team

Brewventus is checking in for the 2025 season!

Brewventus is a spirited soccer team comprising Wayne State alumni and friends. We have built a close-knit community united by our love for soccer, giving back, and of course, beer!

Playing in the Detroit City Futbol League gives us a unique opportunity to contribute to the city of Detroit. The league requires each team to complete a certain number of community service hours for a chance to compete in the end-of-season tournament. The glory of winning the tournament has always been in our sights, and we believe that with the power of Labatt on our side, we can bring home the winner's medal.

As grateful recipients of the 2024 Labatt Parks and Rec Sponsorship, Brewventus was able to contribute over 100 posts to their social media platforms during the last campaign. We matched Labatt’s energy and ambition and aim to make this season even bigger than the last!
