About the Team

Our team has been playing together for nearly ten years with the same core group and league. It’s been great to see the core group stick together, and those who have joined over the years always seem to fit right in. The team originally started with a two cousins and their close-knit group of high school and college friends, and that foundation has remained strong all these years. Over time, we’ve become one big family. We don’t have official team colors, we just go with whatever the weather allows! However, we do have a group of Whippet dogs that have been our mascot from the start, and we use a photo of one of them dressed in a hotdog costume as our logo. Our team joke is that we’re “Team Number Two.” We’re famously undefeated in the regular season, but we always end up finishing in second place during the playoffs. It keeps us humble! The Labatt Raspberry beer from last summer was amazing. I like to switch up my drinks depending on my mood and the weather, and that raspberry flavor was perfect for a hot summer day. These will be in the lineup again this year.
