About the Team
The Cardinals Beer League team was formed 21 years ago by the fathers of my youth team (also called the Cardinals). Although the roster has evolved over those years, the two things that have always remained the same are our sense of family and love for hockey. The outcome of the game does not matter to us. The thing we look forward to most each week is sharing some ice-cold Labatt and stories in the locker room after the final horn blows. Our team motto is “If we win we’ll have a beer. If we lose… we’ll have a beer.”
