About the Team

Plakata was my first real foray into running a team. I had a few friends who I knew wanted to play, but I asked the league to just load us up with free agents. And our first season, 2021, we actually ended up winning the low division championship. There have been some roster changes since then, but much of the core has remained intact (think the Yankees core four, but better). Since then we have been a force, and won our first top division championship in 2023. But the wins and the loses aside, what has made this such a special team is the relationships it has forged. From complete strangers in some cases, we are now family. Its not just an hour on a Tuesday night, plus some drinks at the bar and ill see you next week. Rarely is it that we see eachother only once a week. And that has been the greatest gift that this team has become. Obviously playing the game is fun, but it has created a family with tight bonds that go beyond the field. And for that I am so grateful.
